a long time in the making
This trip has come WAY overdue, and it's been a long time in the making. We've always wanted to take you girls back "home" to see Mexico, but always had some excuse not to. This year, we finally made it happen and we were so excited to show you girls just what a beautiful country we come from. We always want you to embrace your heritage. It was go great to see you girls have so much fun. As parents, it's so easy to get caught up in trying to provide a "comfortable living" for you, that we forget to just give you our undivided attention. It was nice to just spend time with each other without distractions. We got to visit with family and they absolutely loved you two. I mean, how can they not?! We promise to try and not go get so caught up in our lives that we forget to just BE with you.
